Yes, I have dsl in fact, but since are phone bill has ran up, are internet service is shutting us off tommorow, that means not internet no phone. So my mother is going to get a Cell phone turned on, and now she wants to have the internet by itself, with no home phone needed to hook it up with. Is there any other service company, that dosen't need a home phone and you can just get the Internet by itself, out there? If there is, can you tell me how? Or can I just get the Dsl internet service by itself without having any phone connections? or does it need to run from something else?

two options really Cable ( they normally bundle phone as well ) wireless, or the third expensive option is the same wireless as your mobile phone network

yes. timewarner does. but their service is crappy and the internet goes down alot.

best bet look into cable internet if available.
