I'd like to find a place in the continental USA that has surfing, hiking in the mountains and the ability to snowboard. I live in FL and it has great beaches, but I'd like a place that has seasons and isn't hot all the time.

New Hampshire
Big surf scene in the Hampton Beach area.
The White Mountains are about an hour drive from Hampton, there are numerous ski areas there, both Vermont and Maine have ski areas as well.
New England has the hiking and 4 seasons covered too.

I stay in Southern California, and that i'm able to Surf, Skate, and Snowboard multi functional day. i'm able to snowboard at the two Mountain extreme, Mount Baldy, Snow Valley, undergo Mountain, or Snow Summit. Then i'm able to go on right down to the sea coast and surf. And there are only skateparks everywhere.

Visit North Carolina. Asheville and Boone are pretty cool for mountain sports and the Outer Banks have surfing, wild horses, and other beautiful wildlife. Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach is another nice area.

Summit County,Colorado....I am from Florida as well...but there is nothing like lake Dillon during the summer months and the ski resorts in the Rockies...it is sooo beautiful....I try to make it there different times of the year just to experiment and take on a variety of adventures

While serving in the navy, I had the opportunity to be stationed in Wa state. My ship did Ski to Sea days every so often. During the summer they would go to Mt. Baker for skiing in the morning and end up at the beach in the afternoon.
