As in do I fear "My Death" when the time comes, well the answer is No. I've just always made it one of my priorities to live life with No Regrets.
But as for seeing loved ones die...I really would rather have that not happen. Unfortunately that is not the way life goes.

No. We fear darkness and mystery, which we associate with death, but, if you examine these fearful thoughts, they have little to do with death, which is a state of non-existence, of nullness or nothingness. In nothingness there is neither light nor darkness, neither nightmare nor beautiful fantasy, neither sleeping nor wakefulness, and, since we the living have no direct experience with death, this fear is merely a vague dread of danger within the world of the living imprinted upon the nightmare realms of the subconscious. In no rational sense can I truly fear non-existence, for non-existence is a state that I can neither visualize, define nor conceive. The images we associate with death, in actuality, are the product of fear itself while death, conceived as the dreaded ending, in reality is the ending of dread.

Ohh great, thanks for making me think of this again and getting scared now all about it..LoL! The sad thing about it, is also that it really is the only thing guarantee in life, is "DEATH".

I don't fear death itself---I fear the impact it would have on family and friends. I guess I also fear the cause of death--I hope that when it's my time it is fast and painless.

If Death is a fat hairy man known simply as Hank by his close friends and wants to abort my unborn fetus with a rusty coat hanger and a Kirby vacuum cleaner while I am sleeping...then yes, I fear death.

No not death. But I hate the idea of what my death would do to my husband and children. So I hope to be very old when I go.
