Taxpayer's money goes to waste.

Such is the hapless state of our politics. Speaking not only on the boardwalk issue but on other government projects who have more or less suffered a similar fate. The public servants doesn't have enough sense to pursue the projects initiated by the previous governance, leaving these costly projects abandoned or demolished. If a certain project is an eyesore or a venue for public nuisance, one can always convert it for better purposes. Just think of the enormous budget which should have been used on more important facilities needed by Filipinos. On a bigger picture we can say we barely improve.

I think this should be demolished. I never went there because I felt that the place, the way it is set up, is a heven for pickpockets and con artists. I feel like trouble is going to erupt anytime.

the promenade will remain but i feel that the shops should be maintained with certain guidelines and restrictions. they should complement the walk and should not be a disturbance.**
