Bought my grandson a Hot Wheels scooter and he is catching on great. Went to the play ground where he climbed, and slid down the slides, swung in the swing, and with grampy's help got his second lesson in monkey bars.

well it was during dinner and i was telling my grandmother about the singing lumberjack sketch on monty python's flying circus, which i'd been laughing at all day, 'cause he's singing a song and there are some lines that go, "i cut down trees, i eat my lucnh, i go to the lavatreee.." and she didn't know what a lavatory was so i told her it was the british word for a bathroom and she started laughing. and then my mom came in the room and i told her about the sketch and she didn't know what a lavatory was either. and then my grandmother started laughing again and my mom didn't know what she was laughing about but she started laughing too and then i started laughing too. and my grandmom was like, "it's a bathroom!" and then we all started laughing again. honestly, that was like the first time in years we've laughed together. and in tht moment i felt like we were, you know... a real family. and i felt like i kinda forgave for the stuff they did to me. you know.. parenty stuff.. only more over-the-top.
