Someone that understands me. Someone I can trust to tell how I truly feel. Cause if someone doesn't understand me then it's not worth it . Yes personalty is very important. They have to make me smile

Although there is that chemistry thing to deal with, that only takes you so far into a relationship. For me, the more important things are honesty, fidelity, things in common (but not so many things that we're too much alike), a romantic streak (I do like to be treated like a woman sometimes), and just able and willing to be goofy sometimes and have fun! {Wow....I'm not picky, am I? Good thing my hubby fits all that criteria or I'm not sure I'd ever find a man! :)} I guess that when it comes down to the nitty gritty of a long term partner, personality is more important.

personality - If they are young with a beautiful face and no personality, eventually they will grow older. If they don't age well and their looks go, you really aren't left with much of anything. However, you can get so hooked on a great personality that they can start looking pretty darn sweet once you get to know them.

Definitely Personality.
Attraction (physical) is important to some degree, but the person has to keep you interested... and to love THEM you have to love who they are, not what they are (ie. their intrinsic worth).
Even the best looking person in the world would get awfully tiresome if they weren't nice/fair/caring/intelligent/interesting etc.
