Tom Hanks is my pick. Not only has he shown he can do comedy and drama, but he can do animated voices as well. That takes more energy and talent because he has to make the audience hear his performance.
Julia Roberts is highly under rated. Yes, she won the Oscar for Erin Brockovich, but she has done so many great films. Mystic Pizza is among her greatest performances. Check it out.
