Why do guys always say that they want a natural beauty (no makeup) when they constantly make fun of those who aren't so beautiful?

I didn't mean beautiful or not beautiful. What I meant was how they perceive a certain person on their external appearance.

*~*Because they want to have their cake & eat it too!! Lol Most guys prefer a woman with "natural beauty", & when they aren't so beautiful, they complain!!! I think the key is to wear makeup in moderation. Some days, I wear it & most, I don't. I learned that when you wear makeup, it should look like you have none on. That way it looks "natural" without looking cakey or fake. Makeup should highlight your best features, & make you look polished & real. *~*

My answer to you: whatever you feel more comfortable and give you confident. I personally like to put on make up if i have to work, simply I feel more confident and sexy. However, that does not mean everyone needs makeup. Some people have extremely beautiful skin, and all they need is lipstick. I am sure the guys did not mean to make fun of others. It's their nature to look at cute girls, and the same for girls looking at guys.
PS: I must correct your thought about 'beautiful' and 'not beautiful'. There are no 'ugly' people in this world, everyone's equally beautiful inside and outside. There are only 'lazy' people who do not work hard enough and give themself excuses.

I think what guys mean is that they don't want a girl who cakes on the makeup. They want a girl who can look good without all the mess of too much makeup. Also they might mean that they don't want someone who spends 2 hours in the bathroom getting ready! Remember make-up should look like you don't have makeup on at all. It should just accent your features. But i'm a girl so what do I know! What guys don't know is that you can look like a natural beauty with sheer makeup. Estee Lauder sells incredible foundation that is so sheer, their bronzer is so natural, and their eyeshadows stay on all day As well as their double wear powder. Check it out- You'll see.

Because they are nitwits who think that a girl should look like the cover of a magazine, but not appear as if they work at it.
Wear makeup if you like it. If a guy really, truly likes you, he will like you with your makeup, too. :)
