A real hippie? You don't have to be an original hippie, but wearing a bandana once in a while just won't cut it. So who's a true hippie man?

i think i was born in the wrong time period, ive literally hugged trees before...and i was by my self. my neighbor's still dont talk to me...

I was around at the right time line. I was a junior during Woodstock. Had sideburns, hair over the collar, wore some of the clothes, but actually thought Woodstock was a small town in northern Illinois. ( Which it is but the wrong location)
Guess I only qualified as a small rural town kid that adopted the look at the time. Didn't avoid the draft but while I was in college the Vietnam War ended. Then I became a cop. That's about as close to hippy as I ever got and I would rather have my toenails pulled out slowly than to ever wear bell bottom pants again.
