My favorite holiday? New Year's Day if that's considered one because you can start the new year fresh. Sharing this special movement into the next year with the ones I love is a special and honorable time. Gatherings are fun! :)
If New Year's isn't considered a holiday, then of course, Christmas!! Besides the presents, Christmas means winter and Winter Break!! Snow equals snowboarding. Yayuh!

I loved valentines day until one year in high school I received flowers and a card saying that this guy had a crush and thought I was the prettiest girl in our grade but he was too shy to talk to me. I never found out who he was but everyone was like uhh you got flowers and I didn't and just made a huge deal out of it and then of course the "popular" girls said some really rude things about how they're prettier/smarter/whatever and that just ruined the day for me.
Jealousy is a horrible thing.
so now my favourite holiday is the may 2-4 weekend! It's so close to my birthday that I get tonnes of free drinks and it's just a great party weekend! the only people who are going to get what I'm talking about are Canadians though.
basically may 24 is like americans 4th of july only better.

Christmas is my favorite holiday because it is a time to get together with family. I also love shopping and giving gifts. I put alot of thought into the gift that I am buying each person. And...I don't necessarily spend alot of money on each gift.

Halloween or Thanksgiving because Fall is the greatest time of the year, the atmosphere is so homey and comforting.
