When you get regular headache, which brand works best for you?

to me Advil usually works in half hour or so, headache is gone.

I have suffered from headaches literally every single day since I was 13 and the only brand that works for me is Excedrin, or as I like to call it "E" since there is an "E" on the pill, haha. I only take it when they're really bad though. Sadly, it doesn't always work. But nothing else has ever helped me which includes medication my doctor gave me (my headaches were that serious)

The things that work best for me are:

* Advil (works pretty fast, though the headache can come back)

* Excedrin (it has caffeine in it, which opens the blood vessels in your brain, which stops the headache. i swear by this stuff)

* A big glass of cool water, silence, and low lights (sometimes, the body uses a headache as a sign of dehydration. that's why no matter what pill you take, the headache will usually go away - the water you drink to swallow the pill is what helps it go away!)

I take levlen ED. i'm in australia, i don't know if you'd have it where you live. It makes it really short and regular. I know exactly what day it's going to come on, and i barely notice it at all. A doctor can tell you which pill is best for you.

Advil is the best for everything - pain, headaches, fever, etc. Ibuprofen, which is the same thing, is just as good & you can get the generic brand for less than the name brand.
