I've had my 2GB silver ipod nano for a year now an I've concluded that it is overrated.. It is just like an ordinary mp3 player. And it scratches easily. I'm looking for an affordable mp3 that will last along while with a good amount of space.

Microsoft offers an underrated alternative to the iPod. It's called the Zune. I don't know where you can buy one but you can search for one in the following sites below.

There are alot of mp3 players out there just as good as an ipod with as much space but just cheaper. Try looking on Ebay or search engines or other shopping sites. I am sure that there will be alot of them.Like.....Philips 2GB SA2325 Flash Audio Player, Transcend T sonic 610 2GB mp3 player, Coby MP C7095 2GB portable slim Player, Centon Electronic 2GB mp3/mp4 music player. See plenty of players each under $100.
Hope I helped!!!

Sandisk Sansa- it has a radio built-in and an expandable memory card slot, so you could put even more music on it!
