Some do, some don't.

I'll tell you what puts a burr in my seat, it's these chicken-hawks with yellow magnets on their SUVs thinking that supports the troops. You call that supporting the troops? Whats wrong with these kids? They'll get a tattoo of a damn dragon or hello kitty on their pink behinds, but God forbid they get a little glue on their Hummer.

because they use that as a cop out, if they knew what was going on they wouldn't be saying that. We could have just taken oil and left but we are still there why would we still be there protecting the people, if we just wanted to steal their oil? That makes no sense, not to mention like you said if we had the oil we would have lower gas prices. I don't think these people don't realize how they look, and actually think they are doing good for the country when all they are doing is hurting the morale of them military, and hurting the reputation of the country. It's not the leaders, it's the news boradcasting more temper tantrums, I mean protests that is what's hurting this country. You don't think allies and enemies don't sees this on TV?

Whoever think these people are being killed for oil are really ignorant I really hope they are younger people who just don't know better because that is an extremely ignorant and false. It's actually frightening that there are such ignorant people who have such strong opinions without know anything or having any facts. I say view tchwarrior's answer because it should get best answer in my opinon. There was an answer a a couple down by Xenepo or something like that, they had some good points too. You know why, because they had facts and not opinion.

Liberals wonder why people don't listen to them, because they have no credibility, if anyone is lying about this war it's the liberals.

Even the liberal NY Times had an article of progress that we are making in Iraq by the way.
We are passing benchmarks in Iraq, last time I heard 8 passed 8 failed, 2 unsure. I'm sure it has changed. We are making progress in Iraq.

Oh I am sure -- and then they all ride around in huge SUVs or Limos -

high gas prices are going to hurt the poor far more than the rich -- who will have to alter their budgets to pay and will suffer more from increased food prices (gas goes up - cost of trucking goes up - food prices at the supermarket will go up) To the rich - this will just make them cut back on savings and vacations

Yes they do. All they do is groan and whine about everything with no forethought of the end result. Like these stupid people who keep pushing for ethanol, which is a much less efficient fuel, and you have to buy more of it than gas go get the same amount of energy. Yeah, great plan. Now I have to pay sky-high prices for fuel AND dairy & corn fed meat. Thanks alot.

whcwarrior_10 -- the people who gave you thumbs down must be the stupidest people on the plant, because you speak the God's honest truth, brotha. It takes a flaming liberal whackjob to thumbs down facts.

the situation is that the upward push of cost would not circulate to potential performance, inovation or slicing expenses on hard artwork.. It often is going into the pocket of Exxon and Prince Saudi... If performance measures have been carried out in the previous, the call for could have been decrease and consequently the cost decrease... yet i assume governments and our so called professionals don´t think of so a techniques... somebody as quickly as reported to artificially strengthen the gasoline cost and use the money to partially compensate the fluctuations of the cost and partly positioned funds into analyze, progression and performance... as a consequence, the employer international could have a very sparkling cost outlook to enforce performance measures. i locate the belief exciting.

It's some stupid slogan a Leftist came up with to rally the air heads.

A true Liberal wants higher gas prices to drive down consumption. As whcwarrior_10 mentioned in his brilliant answer, Liberals get in office and look to raise taxes on gas. It's an easy target. In Arizona, we have an 18 cents a gallon tax on top of the 18 cent Federal tax. 20 gallons of gas and they collect $7.36. Then they'll disguise it as an energy tax used for global warming research, or some other B.S. reason.

I actually find the question kinda funny. No offense, Toots, but America isn't getting any oil from this war in Iraq, or even from Afghanistan. So Libs, or whoever else might complain, "No Blood For Oil", is really stupid, and uneducated aren't they? USA is not getting ANY oil. We are in a war on terrorism. Iraq harbors terrorists, not the people themselves, but other terrorist abiding people in Iraq. Mr. Bush Jr. told us all, we Americans, that we will not differentiate between terrorists, and those that harbor them. I think he meant that, but Liberals want to change their story now, and claim to not have agreed with our president, after 9/11 occurred. Well, now, that just makes Liberals liars, doesn't it? I think they have proved that, all by themselves!

No they drive hybrid or electric cars which by the way use fossil fuel to charge them. And the power plants that provide there power intradoses more pollution. And lobby to keep us out of ANWR and from drilling the largest oil fields in the would here in the US

Absolutely. They complain about the oil companies making too much money and demand that a luxury tax be put on the oil companies to stop them from bleeding Americans dry.

Got the picture. "Tax n Spend".

Meanwhile, the oil companies just keep shutting down all them refineries so as to make it harder to refine the oil, thus driving the oil prices up.

You know how the government could fix that? Have the FTC sue the oil companies for gouging the American public.

Ooops! Oh I forgot, the FTC is just an attack dog for competitors and big business. THey're ont he side of the oil companies!

Guess there's no one else.

Don't these people know that in order for us to control the world we have to control the oil? It's bad enough that we have to ally ourselves with these heathen Arabs, but to have our fellow Americans complain about how we make our country safe for us and our friends, down at the club, is shameful.

I don't know about others, but I never complain about the price of oil cause it makes no difference whether is .05 or 5.00. As of now, I have to pay the going rate, and grousing about it isn't going to change that fact. And just so you know, I put a much higher premium on blood than oil.
