Love is many things and nobody can claim to know them all. Love can be caring for someone, feeling affection and the need to be with them, but it's also passion, almost an obsession with the object of your love, so much that you can't do or think of anything else and you imagine to do everything you do with this person on your side. Love changes everyday and you will change with it - if you asked me a week ago, I could have claimed I found love a few years ago, and yet today I will probably give you a different answer...
One thing is for sure: you should never fear falling in Love, for the pain and suffering that this may bring will always be overcome by the feeling of joy and fulfilment that Love will bring to you.

I won't say for absolutley sure, but I have a good idea that it's when after the butterflies go away and the make-up comes off. When you help eachother through a hellish time or when eachother is sick. When you disagree on something or maybe even want to strangle that person, when you see who eachother are truly and still "like" eachother...unconditionally. Love isn't pretty all the time. Love is work and the fact that you're willing to do whatever it takes.

I think many people know what love is. The difficulty lies in actually applying it to our lives. Love is an active thing, it is...alive...it is perfect. Since we are not perfect...we screw it all up sometimes. But I still think that, for the most part, we know what it is.
But then again, just when I thought I knew it...I was surprised by...a new...realization...

i am a mother to a 4 month old and that is the most intense love i think anyone could ever feel.
