what kind of bear is it? and why is he called "winnie the pooh"? cause they call him pooh bear like its his name, but wouldnt winnie be his name, and pooh be the kind of bear he is? is pooh a kind of bear or is he just a honey bear? yeah i know thats random as hell..but thats what happens in the moutains with no tv. lol thanks.

He is a honey bear. Like everyone else I believe he has a surname which is Winne. As for not having pants wouldn't it feel nice not to wear them anymore. This is the answer you get when cold medicine is involved.

Pooh isnt a real species. Hes a cartoon character. His name is Winnie, and Pooh is just a nickname that most everyone uses.

actually Winnie is Christopher Robin's stuffed bear. Look close and you can see the seams. I thought everyone knew that. The same with Eor, Tigger, Piglet, and Kanga and Roo. Rabbit is supposed to be a real rabbit and Owl a real owl but the others are stuffed as is the Huff-a-lumps.
