I like evanescence and thought there weren't many bands like it, but recently I listened to a few Lacuna Coil songs and was blown away. Of course they're very different from evanescence, but what I mean is are there any other rock bands with girl's singing so good out there?

Not the ones that have other guys screaming in the back and with a lot of death metal influence. I mean more melodic ones, a little gothic but not that much. Thank u!!!

Lacuna Coil is great. They sound the way I wish Evanescence would. These bands are somewhat similar as they are gothic and female fronted.

Miranda Sex Garden
Switchblade Symphony
The Birthday Massacre
Cranes
Black Tape for a Blue Girl
Hungry Lucy
Lycia

Lacuna Coil is great! There aren't a lot of great female singers leading a heavy metal band!

Try these bands:
Arch Enemy
Nightwish
Leaves' Eyes

I like them but not as much since they've been going for more of a pop rock sound on their last couple of albums. In a Reverie, Unleashed Memories, and Comalies are awesome though.
