I used to take the bus to and from work every day. It added two hours to my work day and could turn into a very unpleasant experience in other ways as well. Now that I have a reliable car, I do that very seldom. I do still use the light rail every so often for trips to the down town area though. It's easier than trying to find parking.

I live in a small town so I never use public transportation. I use the subway and the bus when I'm in New York, though.

Yes, I do. 3 days a week, it's not that bad because the bus comes every 15 minutes

Down here where I live, my Suburban is considered public transportation. We don't have any other type around here. And even if we did, I don't believe I'd use it. I like to be in control of my surroundings. And I don't particularly like the idea of somebody having their elbow in my ribs or their a** in my face.

I don't have a car, so I usually walk or take the bus to wherever I need to go.

I take it every freakin' day and it couldn't b more crowded. I feel like a bloody sardine. Fortunately, I'm a bloke 'cause when this happens, some of my friends (girls) feel very uncomfortable. You know, there's always a moron who takes advantage of the situation.
I'm just waiting for the day I get a car ;)
