Some people don't know any better... They think a five dollar tips is good enough everywhere they go, no matter how big the ticket is.

If I get good service I leave 15%, but if I get great service I leave 20%. If I get sorry service I leave them a note giving them a tip to give better service.

Tipping isn't required by using regulation. yet, many waiters/waitresses are paid under minimum salary. In some places they are in a position to legally settle for an hourly salary as low as $2.17 an hour and that they are anticipated to make up the type with information. except the service is undesirable, bypass away the extra beneficial greenback, they are in a position to apply it extra beneficial than you.

I agree. If they can afford to eat out...they can afford to leave a decent tip. And is it really necessary to "do the math"? If the tab is $20.....leave a $3 tip for crying out loud. If it is $40...leave $6...it ain't hard....boy!!!
