I had one creepy experience. There was a posted "quiz" that showed two pictures, apparently identical. It suggested you get close to the monitor to discover the differences, as they were very subtle. After a few seconds, the picture changed suddenly to a really horrible devil face! It was obviously a photo which had been doctored electronically of a human face, grossly distorted and with horns sprouting from the forehead. Given that I was very close to the monitor at the time, it was quite startling and rather offensive.
