My mother does. She knows how I feel and helps me when I need it. My father, on the other hand, never raised me; we barely talk, so he wouldn't have a clue on how to comfort me in my hour of need or give me advice when I asked for it.

Neither. This is why i got emancipated when I was a kid and have been on my own since I was 17. The person who knows and understands me the best is my husband, who has known me since I was 6.

it was definitely my mother. she was a very sweet and loving mother to all EIGHT of us!! my dad was from the south in louisiana and had a rough childhood when his mother died when he was young. he used to whip us with extension cords and leather belts. but, then again, he has some good qualities.

my mother had to deal with alot with him; and yet, though, we were poor, i never knew it! there was always meals on the table and holiday celebrations. i love her alot and miss her dearly!!

It depends on what the situations about. My dad.... surprisingly.... is better with friendship stuff and my mom is better with like trying to make up the mind type stuff.

dad definently. he's more loose and let me go out with my freinds. he joked around a lot. he new all about the lates movies and celebrities. he loved going on rollercoaster with me. and his personality was very much like my own. he simply loved to have fun and remembered wat it was like to be a teen. me and my mom... entirely different story
