I have nitrogen in my tires right now, and I don't want it anymore. I travel constantly for work, and it's hard to find places that have nitrogen. While my tires leak more slowly now, they do leak a bit. When I called my tire place to ask them about deflating them and reinflating them with air, they were really awful and condescending. They brushed me off with a "just use air". I just want to make sure, without having to deal with those jerks again, that that's right. Can I just use air in them now without getting all the nitrogen out?

That is correct. Just add air and forget about the nitrogen. Don't worry about it. After all the air is about 78% nitrogen anyway. I'm not sure of the exact figure but that is fairly close as I recall from high school.
Just start using the regular air, no problem.

just top off w air they wont explode or anything.
GASES OF THE AIR
The air around us is a mixture of gases, mainly nitrogen and oxygen, but containing much smaller amounts of water vapor, argon, and carbon dioxide, and very small amounts of other gases. Air also contains suspended dust, spores, and bacteria. Because of the action of wind, the percent composition of air varies only slightly with altitude and location. The table indicates the composition of a typical sample of air after all water vapor and suspended particles have been removed.
The amount of water in the air varies tremendously with location, temperature, and time. In deserts and at low temperatures, the content of water vapor can be less than 0.1% by volume. In warm, humid zones, the air may contain over 6% water vapor.

That's a definite YES, won't hurt a thing.
by the way "air" has some nitrogen in it so they mix just fine.
Oh and just for curiosity, i have seen allot of 4 wheelers air back up after a trail ride on co2, with no ill affect so don't worry about it.

id just use air in them, the nitrogen thing is sort of a money gimmick,it does help, but its not worth the cost to use it,just replace it with air and it will be fine, good luck on it.

Air is mostly nitrogen, just use air from now on, no need to drain them.
