Lost Cell Phone??

Question

ok so i lost my cell phone with all my contacts and everything. i really need it back. Its a verizon samsung phone it was not turned on when i lost it and it has not been used since i lost it does anyone know of a was i can track it??

First you did not provide us with the model of the wireless phone that you lost. Verizon Wireless has something called Chaperone, which is meant more for parents to keep track of their children. Its $9.99 per month. You can use it to keep track of your phone if it is compatible via the Verizon website because it uses the phone’s built in GPS to keep track of it.

Other than that Verizon is not going to waste its time tracking your phone. Report it lost/stolen and suspend the line to avoid unwanted charges. Also, the police are not going to waste their time trying to find your phone.

Go to the Verizon website and see if your phone is Chaperone compatible.

I'd talk to your wireless subscriber Verizon and explain what you did here, as well as discussing options for temporarily deactivating the phone line (so as not to get a huge bill at the end of the month for calls you did not make). There is a feature on the phones that is a location identifier (providing the service was set to be turned on all the time and not just for emergency purposes) but I'm not exactly sure what it does, though it may help. I'd also suggest trying to call it; even though it was turned off someone may have found it and turned it on. Consider checking the lost and found of where you were located (if you were in a building or certain place), and contacting your local police department (as a non-emergency call) and seeing if perhaps someone turned a phone in. Whichever action you take, best luck in finding your phone! :-)

Report it to the police.They will investigate where it was used and find out who has it.Post an ad on the local bulletin board with a reward for returning it.Call your phone and see if someone answers it. Also report it to your phone company.

but that phone is gone.

Sorry, but you're probably out of luck.

CALL VERIZON ASAP and tell them about the loss. They MIGHT be able to help, but sorry to say, don't count on it.
