on my old phone i had a plan 2.99 for 100 text messages a month... i recently got my phone upgrade, however, now the minimum plan for text messages is 500 for 10 dollars a month... or else 15 cents a text (a complete rip)
how ridiculous is that??? you think if i call up verizon theyll let me keep my old plan ??? or have they gotten rid of the 100 for 3 dollars one?

that plan is grand fathered so no thats not something you can keep the $2.99 plan is out the window. the minimum package is $5 for 250 msgs that includes text pix and vid, the unlimited IN pkgs start at $10 for 500
so they half lied- half didn't.

this is a great question!
I recently got a new samsung phone that has a QWERTY keyboard and I wanted to get that plan where you could get 250 for $4.99 a month. I just asked for that and they gave it to me. But i went WAYYY over. If you have the money and like to txt alot then get the 9.99 plan that is unlimited for people in your network or otherwise 500 messages for ppl outside it.
But if you dont txt alot just ask for the 250 they did it for me!
They dont do just 100 anymore..

sorry they have been phasing that out since march of this year.
you did an upgrade and it is no longer available.
so do the $10 or is it cheaper to pay the per unit if you are only doing a handful a month.
