I take wonderful care of my friends. How? It depends on whether those friends are neighbors or those that visit from out of town. Countless amounts of times I am told what a great host I am or terrific neighbor. Specifics require a little too much detail that I am not really willing to share in this particular forum; so, you have to take it on faith that what I am telling you here is true.

Being an "Angelino" now on the east coast has been difficult; but, I have a disposition that fosters "good nature" and "friendliness". If the "chips are down" I would rather find a solution than dwell on the negative event. I hope this shows you a basis for my ability to treat friends well. Different situations require a different approach.

Have a good day Moon - I am rather busy today so this will likely be the only answer you receive from me.

Sincerely,
Gerry

Good Morning Moon,
Yes because I care. I don't often have a lot of time to see my closest friend but she's like family to me and she knows I'm always there if she needs me and she, for me. I do a lot of work for the community and again, they all know, that if they need something and give me a call, it will get done. The trouble is, they're coming to me more and more as they want me 'on board' new projects because they tell me then it'll happen if I'm involved because I take everything I do seriously but I sometimes wonder how I'm going to find the time as I find it hard to say no!

More so than myself.

I drive her to and fro work every morning. Always have and always am her private taxi cab. Free of charge.

Always being the one who treats as she's a little low on money.

Always the shoulder for her to cry on knowing when I have a problem, she just says it's not so bad and should get over it.

Always an ear to talk off when she needs to rant even though I never get a word in.

And I'm always worried about her and checking in on her.

It's not a bad thing. She's an amazing woman and a great friend. She's like family. For a long time, the only family I had. I'm not complaining in the least. Every bit of work and expense to me, and there is allot of it to keep her somewhat happy is worth it.

Good Morning Moon,
I value my friends & I do meet their needs and they meet mine. It is such a comfort to know you have friends like this.
It doesn't take long to find out who the good weather friends are and there is a huge difference between the two.
I've lived a long life and I love everyone & the more I smile, the more smiles I get. Feels so good.
I am there for my friends, and that includes you Moon,
if you need me. I think I am going to enjoy you as a contact.

You sure got a lot of answers to your sleep question. I think you'll be sawing logs tonight. LOL~~~~jill

Hit a nerve there Moon. No, I have been guilty of not taking care of a friend (part of the crowd I grew up) with just recently. How am I gonna put this right? Well I am still really hacked off with him for hacking my computer.

BUT When I have calmed down, I will take a surprise picnic tea and meet him after work to chat and I will say sorry even though he started it. Hope he is still not hacking me now, less it won't be a surprise Lol.

Ahhhh, a question from the pro at this!!!

I really really try to take good care of my friends!! I try to be aware of what they might be going through and to be sure that I tell them that I appreciate them... to leave them some smiles and hugs just because ... to be available to talk if they need to....

There might be some who are much better at this than I am (actually I can think of a couple) but I do try to do my best to be there for my friends. They matter so much to me, after all. I don't know what I would do without their care and support!!

E. B. White:
You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.

I rather have a few true special friends... than a lot of so called friends that are not realy true friends... like the ones who I thought of like they were my true friends... and then I come to find out that they were (for example) talking behind my back or back stab me in some way. I believe in today's world you just have to be careful in "who" we choose as our friends.

Someone told me once before: You have to "be" a friend in order to "have" a friend. Spending time together... getting to know each other... going to the mall, movies or Zoo or whatever... being there for each other in tough times... remembering each others Birthdays, Anniversary's, also to just listen to your friend is very important : )

I live by taking care of my friends. I love them all, and they take care of me. So, i return the favor.

You have a wonderful week too.

Now what kind of "care" are you talking about.
I love my friends as if they were family
I speak out and hold them accountable when I feel they are not hold up to what is called "Friend" . Some do not like that as I have found that to be in the last couple of months. And that is OK to because you really learn who your "True Friends Are".
