UoP is regionally accredited, Ashworth is nationally accredited. National accreditation is lower than regional.
There are far more choices for you in psch than these two though. Some, such as Walden U, have a much better reputation. The two you list are expensive too!
When you say "go to a real college" you imply that you don't feel these are a "real college". (they are, they're properly accredited and require coursework for their degrees). My question to you is why would you go to a not-real college at all? If you don't have confidence in your alma matter then you can't expect an employer to.
Pick a school that is regionally accredited and then only one that you have confidence in. Anything less will not make you happy with your degree.
Walden, Capella, NorthCentral, Argosy, Assumption, Liberty, Seton-Hall, Saybrook, U N. Dakota, UMass (EdM) are just a few more to consider with grad programs online in psych. and counseling. There are probably many more to pick from, maybe even your local state university.
Expect to be required to put in a considerable not online internship/supervised practicum.

Actually, many colleges and universities offer online courses and there are those who have received degrees, inclulding their masters from taking courses online. These can be classified as independent study.
Ohio University, Loyola, and yes, the University of Phoenix are just three that are recognized and schools that offer online programs.
This is not to say that at lease some attendance won't be required, because at some point, you may be asked to attend a class here and there. However, overall, many schools, and well-respected school now offer online courses in various disciplines. Do your homework and pick one that fits you.
Good luck.

I can appreciate that the baby makes other choices impossible for now, but I think you would do better to wait and do a normal master's program. If you must do an online degree, do one at a traditional college, not one of these for-profits, which are looked down upon. Another thing to keep in mind, though, is that psychology as a discipline is founded on human interaction, and I'm not sure anyone would think you would have gotten much practice at that when you weren't dealing with people in your program.

A nationally accredited degree in psych is not reputable in the field, frankly. U of P costs a fortune. Why spend that kind of money when you can get a better education for less? Check the state schools, and Northcentral, etc (see Coach T's answer). These are more reputable schools. Northcentral, for example, is accepted by the nyc department of education, which also tells you about the standards.
And, online school is real school. In psych, expect to put in some serious time and effort. Depending on the program, you may need a camera for some classes.
