We're constantly evolving as a species, people might look totally unrecognizable to us about a million years from now.
Consider what our environment could do to us. Sunlight alone could have drastic effects on our skin, if we choose to avoid sunlight alltogether people could appear alot different too.
We have hair on our bodies because people were hairy long time ago (don't forget we're all just animals). Some people are hairrier than others because of the climates they lived in.
Environments, lifestyles, diets all have to do with why we look the way we do.
