If it's dark and windy that means a tornado is in your area. Take cover in a basement or in the center of the lowest floor of a building. Evacuate a mobile home or automobile and seek shelter in the nearest public building or lie flat in the nearest ditch with your hands over your head..

When there was a Tornado last time It was raining and then it stopped and the sky got really really really dark and then the sky turned green within minutes and the the alarm went off, but the warnings have gone off where i live when there was a tornado in another county and they put the warning off just to warn people that it might come and there is a possibility, so be ready to take cover.

GO TAKE COVER; there doesnt have to be a storm. If a warning is issued it means a tornado was spotted near your locality, and you shouldn't second guess. If there is a watch it just means the conditions are right and you need to be watchful and ready for a warning.

tornado warning is just that a warning. it could be eminante or it could not, i live in missouri and we get tornado warnings all the time when there are no clouds in the sky, but it dosent mean that it wont happen. normally there is a weak strong cold fron merging with a warm front and mixes just right to cause tornados. a tornado is a downgrade from a tornado warning

Check the radar on you station, if you are anywhere near that area, take cover now. Being dark is the first sign, a little windy will soon pick up very rapidly.

It doesn't have to be raining for a tornado to hit. As long as there are strong enough winds, it could happen.
