a couple bands i like are:
Blessthefall, The Used, 30 Seconds to Mars, Papa Roach, and System of a Down.

well 30 seconds to mars and the used are not hard rock ...at all!!

you might want to try A.F.I before December underground try black sails into the sunset, or for hard rock try AC/DC high voltage is a great album
