I lock my doors because I'm afraid you are going to show up!
Actually, I lock them at night and usually when I leave the house, unless I forget, which is often.
I'm not giving you my address, but only because then you might just show up for an extended visit! AAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

Of course, we keep all the doors and windows locked especially at night. During the day if we have windows opened, we always keep a look out for strangers. You can never be too careful....

I NEVER use to lock my doors, day or night because I have my Dobies, but I now have an uncle in the house with a mental illness so I have to so he doesn't wander off!!!

I lock at night and whenever I go out.
I am not going to tell you about my address , you are a theif you will break my lock and steal my jewelry.

Yes, but not really for security reasons.
I'm terrible at putting my keys down and forgetting where they are, so automatically put them in the lock when I walk in, and from habit lock the door when I do it

Yes, I lock my door as soon as I walk in and it stays locked. I live in a rally nice neighborhood too.

Locked all the time unless I forget--and every now and then it seems we forget or at least miscommunicate about it! :P
Double locked too when I am at home because one time at another complex the maintenance guy let himself in.....
