Do you believe that what you do on your on property is your business and that as long as you don't bother your neighbors in ANY way, or do harm to ANY human being then it's no one elses business?

Yes, I believe that is the way it should be.
That's not the current state of the law -- but it's an ideal.

The real proposition, of course, is whether your neighbors are truly "bothered" by NOT KNOWING what you might be doing. The key is whether or not you, and anyone else, can be trusted to take the steps necessary to ensure that your neighbors are not bothered or harmed.
People today feel a strong need to know that you are not on the other side of the fence with listening devices and night vision cameras pointed at them. People today want to feel that the alternative energy invention in your basement lab won't accidentally blow their swimming pool and gazebo across the county line if you forget to check on it before going to bed.
Before analyzing privacy any further, we should all take a look at our own back yards - - - - And you, and anyone else, can do that on high magnification with Google Maps just for starters.

YES! Since the quick passage of the 2001 US (Un) Patriot Act, all of our rights to privacy have been taken away in the name of terrorism and that in itself is unnecessary and must be repealed. I think our government is looking in the wrong place for terrorists and that their witch hunt must end.
