Cause my little sisters just came in my room asking for my old polly poket cars, I didn't want to get them cauz they were on my closet shelf, in the middle, i said no. They told my mom who came in my room took it down, i took it from her and gave them 1 car, cauz the other was a gift from an old friend, but they started whining saying let us use that, i said no it was a gift, SO she stomped on my toe, i said no i'm not gonna let you use it cauz ur being mean nand u want me 2 b nice. My mom said u don't even play with it anymore... So they got their way. JUst because u don't use something should u have to let it go- lik i just did.......

As we grow, we carry many memories with us. There are certain items we own that represent those memories and we want to preserve those items the same way we preserve those memories. Sometimes just hiding an item, will cause others to forget. Out of sight, out of mind. I think it's perfectly fine to want to hold on to certain items, just be selective and assess what true sentimental value each item carries. I have comic books from years gone by and I still look at them now and then. When I read them, I am reminded of a specific time in my life and sometimes it is fun just to remember. The item kinda keeps you connected to your past and there is nothing wrong with that.

not really...if its something that is really important to you then i don't see why you have to...i would never let my sister use my old stuff if it was important cuz i was afraid she would break it....if its not something you feel is really important to you anymore i don't see a problem letting your siblings play with it, but they should be nicer when they ask...if my sister did something like what yours did(stomping on your toe) then i would just slam the door in her face.without even giving her an answer.

I still have stuffed animals that I have had since I was a baby. Let them play with it but get them back when they are finished
