I don't get it. Why do you like about her? She's dumb, disrespectful, shallow, vain, manipulative, and the list goes on and on. I'm sure some of you think that she's playing dumb, but c'mon she's not that cunning and thats a totally stupid strategy. What do people like about her?

Without giving away any spoilers, she's a VERY smart player.
If you're just watching CBS, I can see how you may not like her. You'll find she's actually pretty cool if you watch Showtime or the Live Feeds.

Even if Jen had all the character flaws you mention, they are minor compared to the ones many of the other HG's have. America's Player is one of the biggest liar's I've seen on BB and if you want to see a manipulator, look at him. I would take a snob for a friend over a liar and user any day.
Jen is far from dumb. Give it time...or catch the show on Showtime.
But, we all need to have our favorites and ones we don't like or the show probably wouldn't be in its 8th season.

She actually graduated from college with honors. She has a very even temper, she's not a complainer, she is not vulgar, she doesn't use bad language, she doesn't drink, and she doesn't lie. If you see all of her behavior on the live shows you would like her more..maybe. She's really been edited to look bad on the CBS show.
On the other hand, if you saw Dick on the live shows you would be very embarrassed for his mother...he is truly a mean and disgusting person.

You would have to get to know her through the live feeds and Showtime to understand. She is portrayed as selfish and self-centered on the CBS show, but she is actually quite smart, driven and loyal to a couple of the other housemates. I hated her until I got to know her better. She has my vote for one of the smartest people in the house.

I really really disliked her in the beginning but she is starting to grow on me. I wouldn't say I like her but I don't dislike her as much as I did. You gotta give her a lot of credit for putting up with the constant harrassment from Dick and just smiling it off. Most people would either be crying in the corner or fist fighting him after some of the stuff he says to her but she just shrugs it off with a smile.

I must come in and say "not everybody" likes Jen. She is one of my least favorite players on the show. If some people like her I think its because they act like her as well or they think she plays the game the best. So C'mon, please don't say that everybody likes her when not everybody does!
