that defines the word "joyful" to you?

Every morning that I wake up is joyful to me! I was crushed in a car 3 years ago, and since then everyday I thank God that I have another day. Things that I know I took for granted mean so much more to me....To look at me now you would never know, but in my heart & soul I am so grateful to be alive. It is amazing to me that my senses are so much more acute than ever, I guess it is a blessing in disguise. A star for you JC : )

My son, a beautiful sunrise, a romantic sunset, someone crying because they are happy, dancing in the rain, the innocence of any little child, the sound of the ocean, a good book, cotton candy, warm chocolate chip cookies, puppies and kittens, songs that bring back memories, picnics in the park, movies that touch my heart, a sweet compliment, a kind gesture, true friendship, true love, someone with a heart for Christ ... and forgiveness.
Unfortunately I could not stop at just something ... I try to look for joy in all things ... life is too short not too ... and when something bad does come along it helps to lessen the impact.
