Dudette, it's love. It's crazy and it knows no limits. If you two are REALLY in love, what should it matter? Although other people may disapprove I personally think that if you really love him a lot, what should it matter to you that he's a lot older? And all that matters is what you think. I'm not the one in love with him. I'm not the one to be his partner so it's all up to you. If you love him enough to look past the age gap and he loves you as much as you love him, what's the matter? Still, I cant help but wonder how you fell in love with a person more than 2x your age at 16. Most girls would feel awkward or freak out at just the notion of it. I know I would. I mean, a 33 year old interested at girls around the age of 16? PERVERT!!! Make sure he isn't that.

Yes, there is something wrong because it is against the law. I feel if her parents are okay with it then its okay. You have to look at it from both side. If you had a daughter and a young man that was 19 wanted to date your 16 year old daughter would you let her? Probably not, you probably would say NO! Maybe you can wait until she is18 if that's Okay with her, if you truly love her and she love you you'll will find a way to stay together.

Differences in maturity is huge. That's usually why age differences are so major in relationships then. Three years apart is big when you're still that young - because while a 19 year old may be ready for sex, a 16 year old may not be totally comfortable but can be talked into it, etc...
