gatway power adapter?

I have a gateway mx6455 laptop and my power adapter is dead and I went to best buy but they didn't have the right wire for it and I looked on the website for gateway and I couldn't find one either, I was wondering if anyone knew where to find one? thanks!

call gateway support and ask them, you will get their phone no of their website,, or you could ask their geeks on their web support site,
