i have pictures of my old boyfriends from like 6th 7th and 8th grade. i have sort of kept just because its my life and memories not because it means anything is left between me and those boys! i am 26 years old and my current boyfriend is upset by this! am i being disrespectful keeping them?

If he is just a boyfriend, I would keep the pics, just keep them in a private area. If it was a husband, just get rid of them. I had to get rid of a lot of pics, letters, videos and gifts to please my wife

No, you're not. It's just stupid that anyone would think that it's disrespectful in any way to have pictures of your middle school boyfriends. I'm sure you (and those boys) have gone on to bigger things and that your having those pictures doesn't mean anything other than keeping some memories from when you were a kid. Tell your boyfriend to shut it. This is such a dumb thing to be angry over.

Not really. But I'm sure that if you asked him to get rid of his pics of ex gfs and such, but have your pics of old bfs, he would be rightly pissed off. But if you never did that, then I suggest just explaining to him that the pictures are memories and that you will put them up and out of the way.
P.S. To me it sounds like this guy may be very insecure, and I think you should watch him. Because I think if you are close with a guy friend or anyone else he may get super jealous and say you are cheating on him or something.

I know people like this....they need to scrap their life in the form of pictures. Any girls that carries pictures like this is going to be booted to the street. I don't have pics of my ex's hanging around. Plus if you break up with me, I wouldn't want you having my pic anyway. What makes you think they do.....?

No its not disrespectful. Keep them, but keep them put away. Only look at them when he not around. If he still is bothered by you having them, he doesnt really love you. True love would not care about your past. Good luck, hope I helped, and plz check out my question!

no they are pictures from a long time ago, they are you memories and he should respect that, you can't erase all the bf you had on your pass. Thouse pictures don't mean anything to you they are just pictures, and they were from a long time ago he should be more confiden on himself

i would keep them in a shoebox maybe in your closet or in the garage . there is no need to throw them away just keep them hidden and out of sight . good luck .

disrespectful? idk but i guess even tho you say you dont have feelings for any of your exs, those pics can just bring back memories or even feelings. but i'm sure the relationships you had werent "serious" considering they were from middle school
