If given the oppurtunity to make history, would you take it? And when I mean "history", I mean it on either a national or global scale. Perhaps even at a level that would earn you a place in most school textbooks for decades to come. And because of this, you would be remembered and frequently talked about long after you finally died.

So how important would it be for you to make history? And also consider this: it might not be for something that is good and desirable. But regardless of what it was for, you would NEVER be forgotten.

Only if it were something good. Like finding a cure for AIDS. Not something like assassinating the president...oh wait, never mind, that could go either way. :)

Since its impossible to be immortal... i would want to be immortal through words and written history. However i would not want it to be famous for killing thousands of innocent people

Sure I would. For something good of course.
It would be like you were immortal. And to do something good to be remembered by would be awsome.
