Nope. Once I noticed how my dad tied my shoe laces then it was very easy for me to do it also.

I couldn't tie my shoe untill first grade when I was at recess it came untied and I asked a girl to tie it because I couldn't and I watched her do it and then I started tieing them but it wasn't untill 7th grade when my dad saw me tieing my shoe and he couldn't believe how I tied it. The whole time I was doing it wrong. Can u believe that? He then showed me how to correctly do it, I was so embarassed. I then could do it correctly and half the time from what i was doing it. It was soo much easier than my complicated way I created. Wierd huh!

Well last time I was tying my shoe when suddenly out of nowhere I accidently tied my shoe laces with someone elses shoes. We tripped over the sidewalk and then I took off my shoe. I tied it again and then suddenly out of nowhere I tied it to someones pants. I tried to pull the laces out but I pulled his pants down instead. He was furious and tied my shoe laces to moving bus. It was a good day.

No, but I had troubles teaching my children because my daughter was left-handed. Once I determined that if I face her and show her, it was simple. She then taught her little brother (who was not left-handed) and they still tie their shoes "backwards".

No, I picked up on it at 5 yrs old and never had problems. I was a very fast learner.

i was in kindergarten.. i was crying in the morning because i just learned how to tie my shoe but i forgot the ' bunny in the hole ' trick. then my sister came and told me in normal words, now i do it without thinking :)
