I am serious. Teenagers and children are becoming today's new adults. I know some kids at school that drink and smoke. I know some girls at school that have sex already. I know a lot of girls have been fingered or made out with their tops off. We are 13. What is wrong with today's children and teenagers? I am one of the cleanest girls I know, along with a few others at school, but I am beginning to wonder...what's wrong with kids?

Everything has been handed to them too easily.
There isn't anything wrong with kids. Kids have always been the same. It's the parents who've raised the kids strangely, giving them too much or being too lenient.
Kids require boundaries and discipline, opportunity to grow and make mistakes, and yes some punishment when they cross some lines.
Who are today's role models? Sluts like Britney Spears? She's so messed up because she never grew up herself!
But most kids are still good and normal so don't get all upset over it, ok!! It's only the few who are loud and messed up who gain the attention away from the many and the normal.

People become most like the people that they associate with most often. When they are in the beginning of life they don't choose who they associate with. So the critical stage is then. The parents choose who they are with, what they see, feel, hear, smell, and even taste. They are the molders of the character and integrity of the new people that come into the schools, streets and all other places that association can be found. When kids start to get older it is up to them as far as who they associate with. Parents can only do so much when it comes to who their kids meet or like to hang out with. When kids become a little older the best predictor of the future is your chosen association. There are young people who know when the line is crossed. More so, it's knowing what that line is.

the thing is, soceity is influecing these actions. everywhere we turn, we see things about drinking, smoking, sex, supposable love. its everywhere. what isnt everywhere is the dangers of all these things. thats what we learn the hard way. believe me, i've heard worse, i heard when i was in 5th grade ( now i'm a senior in high school. i have not touching cigerettes or booze. but i have had sex, its not all that great, either that i havent found the right person), that another 5th graders somewhere had already had a baby. at 11 years old! 11! i blame soceity.

Today being sexual is a main stream concept. With R&B and Rap, women have become in some men/boys eyes as sexual objects and nothing other than that. So to meet the expectations of men, and cultures fashion women wear skin tight clothes, act stupid, and try to get attention from men/boys. They are demeaning them selves. One of my neighbors who has resently moved thank god, was caught haveing sex in the tennis courts in my neighborhood, self eveidently with a guy. Its nasty and wrong, it was to make one of her ex's jealous and be just like another one of my neighbors who gave her virginity to her boyfriend for his birthday because she thinks they will be together forever....blah blah blah....shes a high maitmence wanna be prep where as he is a farmers son...yea figure it out. Children have wrong role models and look to stars for "guidence" and its the wrong message.

i am not sure myself and i know this happens all the time. i had 4 sons and they had no problems having girls around and they flocked. it was horrible now they are married but guess what they didnt' marry the weird ones out to have goodtime either. so its their parents don't care and let them run and they run. its good to hear you are a good girl stay that way and you'll find your man someday.

They're all sad products of our media driven society. Spoiled to the core mostly by their parents who work so hard and are away so much that they try to pay for the love that they didn't give them by being there for them.

I think that most of us just wanna b free. we cant wait to grow up so, we grew up overnight. im clean never done nothin, but a couple of kissis (with my top on, none french)
