What does it take to be an actor? Do I need to attend a acting school? I am 12 year old (I look like I'm 14-16). Where would I find a job at? Could I even find a job with no experience? How do you get experience? I know this is a lot of question but if there's someone with the answers please e-mail me because I have a lot more. Even though I may be young don't think that I I have a mind of a young kid.

It takes natural ability, being attractive, determination and hard work, especially in finding a job. Actors only act 1 % of the time. they spend the other 99% looking for jobs. Eventually you will need to go to acting school. You cannot find a job with no experience, so forget it. You get experience by acting, tryout for every school, church and community play you can find. And read, read every play you can find, read books on acting from the library. And in a couple of years if you have done all this, you might look for acting classes.

once you're mature sufficient to have have been given for the time of the whole 'I wanna be properly-enjoyed' element, and can understand that wanting repute is the worst a probability clarification for doing something, then you certainly would be waiting to evaluate appearing as a occupation. it may take some years of solid guidance, greater years of gaining journey, extensive skills (being humorous and telling jokes has no longer something to do with appearing) and particularly some success just to get the tiniest function in something. very few actors ever get greater effective than 2 or 3 weeks' paid appearing artwork a 12 months, so do be sure you have different skills at which you would be able to earn funds!

Being an actress is partly just believing and continuing trying even when people put you down... attending acting school would of course help but definitely isn't required, it does usually help if you have experience so try out for community plays and schools plays... try to find an agency to join and they'll really help you find jobs!! I wish you good luck and to never loose hope!! : )

Start doing meditation for an hour daily through the process of realization of your soul under the guidance of a good spiritual teacher. You can excel in whatever you want to including 'acting' and would also get opportunities to show case your talents in public.

if i were you, id rather start at school plays. you don't have to attend acting school cause it might spend you lots of money. it's better at school! and what you said you don't act like a young kid, well that's a good start. cause in acting you have to act matured. you might not expect one day, you'll be a good actor just because of school. so, don't attend acting school. that's a bit rubbish..

well...y0ou could start out by taking drama class in school and joining any drama clubs or things like that.. then you want to research for any acting classes near you or hunt dowwn acting auditions near you. IF you would like to be an actor...you have to be knowledgeable, bold, outgoing, unique, and you have to have what it takes...

Commitment is a big thing. practice making faces in front of your mirror see if it really captures the desired emotion also study actors in the movies how they act and how commited they are.

GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS

There are way too many of these questions on Y!A.
Try getting an agent to represent you and auditions and castings and such. That'd be the first step.
