Like, making a long skirt into a belted dress. Stuff that's simple and I can get done in a snap.

I own TONS of clothes and everytime I want to go out and buy more I think the same thing you are asking! I've started buying accessories (which are ten times cheaper than just buying an entirely new wardrobe) to spruce up what I've got. I'll buy some fun dangle earrings, scarves or bracelets and pair them up with old clothes to give them a new look. My favorite outfit that used to look pretty blah is just a plain white t-shirt that I pair with a purple skirt. I went out and bought a cute floral purple scarf that I wear tied up in my hair or around my neck and it gives the outfit and entirely new look! Good luck with those accessories! ;)

Oh crafts! =]

1. Old jeans can be cut and hemmed to become capris

2. Shirts that do not fit and if they have graphic designs, can be cut up to become bandanas or some hankie (just make sure you have a real bandana to get the dimensions correct)

3. Skirts can be a belted dress..yes you said that i know

4. Silk scarves can act as belts if they are long enough

NOTE: if there are clothing articles that are no use (holes, damaged, stained, etc) you can cut some of them up and make accessories (headbands, ribbons, cellphone protector, little pouches, hankies etc)

2] belts - wide leather hip ones, chain, ribbon or velvet, an old or used tie as belt
3] use a long sleeved shirt as a jacket, and belt it
