There isnt much you can do with a scumbag like that.

Clearly you need to get out of there.

You can take him to small claims but I suggest you just search really hard to find a new job!

I don't know of any other legal recourse, but there may be some, hopefully others will give you more info!

EDIT
I suggest contacting a lawyer (there are many that will give you advice for free) I've done a small amount of research and depending on the state there is precedence to receive interest on wages that are not paid on time. Good luck!

If you have an agreement that your wages should be paid on a certain date, then you have a right to expect them on that date.
Sadly, however, as this is a small company, and from your description of your boss, whatever legal action you take to rectify the matter, he isn't going to give a monkeys about it, is he?

The best thing you can do is look for another job.

There's not much else you can do, and there's no law that says your wages have to be paid on a certain date.
Must be extremely annoying if they're regularly late, but nothing you can do about it.

I worked for a boss like that. I left. You should too. There are better jobs and better bosses out there. Go look ASAP.

Good luck !!

I would have been gone long ago.

Contact your local labor department. There are laws that say your employer has to pay you on time.
