I have recently fallen in love with this name and I just want your opinion. I've also seen it as Mai, Mei, Mae, but I like May.

PS: If it was a middle name would it sound like a "filler" kinda name? I think if I was to ever use May as a child's middle name, I wouldn't want people to think of it as a filler! ^_^

May would be very nice for a first name and then have a longer middle name like May Raquel.Get the idea?Using May as a middle name would be a filler in name.
I have heard for babies named July,December,Diamond,September.Just a few.

I love the name 'May', and you're spelling is my favourite. I don't really like the spelling "Mae"...no offense. And no, it doesn't seem like a "filler name" in my opinion. Good luck<3

May is a good name. I can't decide if I like it spelled better as Mae or May.

It also makes a good, simple yet classy middle name.

in Chinese, the pronounciation of May / Mei / Mae in name is usually the one meaning "beautiful". Many Chinese girls have this charater in their name. I think if someone like me read Mei or Mae will probably guess the person a Chinese. May is definately more like English.

Mai do you pronouce it "Ma"? if so in Chinese it means "horse", haha

I think May is quite a common name. I'll not use it for myself =P

i think that it is a cute name, and i like it best when you spell it "Mai or Mei" but it is a little old ladyish like barbra and if you use it as a middle name, no matter what the first name is, it will sound like you are from the middle of nowheresvill alabama and ppl will think you are surley related to someone named bobby sue or billy gene
