It could happen. But if the United States collapses the whole modern world could be severely damaged. Think about all of the products that you buy that are from foreign countries. Foreign countries depend on the US markets. If these markets collapse the foreign businesses will collapse with it and the whole world will become a mess.

The dollar is not almost worthless that is why every country in the world tries to buy dollars. The EU is going to be strong economically but will never be a military superpower because they can not agree with each other. China has been a superpower for many years and will continue to have that status.

Dude, Russia bruting its smaller buddies isn't a reliable element. distinctive people died. usa did almost the equivalent in Iraq different than distinctive the violence there is by technique of inner cultural tensions and not Russian troops stealing and beating people. Pakistan removing an unfavourable chief could be a reliable or undesirable element. it ought to bring about a extra acceptable democratic determination than a US patsy, yet extra beneficial than possibly it is going to bring about a potential warfare and violence. actual the final element we want is a nuclear potential to strengthen into volatile. especially while the international's 2nd maximum populous u . s . is the programmed holiday spot of maximum those weapons. the U. S. beneficial has been being hypocritical in years of previous due beginning wars and mouthing off an identical religious rhetoric that the different area is justifying themselves with, however the U. S. does play an important function. the U. S.'s protection rigidity ought to be stiff arming the little guy countries on occasion yet there is little question in my recommendations many extra wars have been prevented by using mere intimidation. If the U. S. had assumed the function as bystander on the international point following the give way of the U.S. smaller countries might have felt the potential vaccuum and pushed and shoved there thank you to fill it. Someones gonna be on perfect and IMO there is not extra acceptable selection than the U. S.. Russia has shown its brutal strategies of "persuasion" and China has very few qualms approximately doing despite the **** they choose. Their government is reliably unpredictable, plus their human rights and private freedoms checklist isn't precisely lined in gold stars. If it wasn't the U. S. it would be somebody else, its the organic order of mass human interplay that we call politics.

In the last fifty years the US is doing mistakes only. The Cuban affair, U2, Korean war, Vietnam,Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq etc are hundred percent failures.

The support US gave to the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan against Russians have gone into the hands of Muslim Fundamentalists and US gave them financial, military and logistic support and made them powerful. Once Afghanistan was taken over the Taliban wanted to give trouble to the US since US went into Iraq in the pretext of dethroning Saddam. Now the Taliban controlled terrorists turned their attention towards US.

When the Muslim Terrorists, trained and financed by Pakistan attacked the Indian army and Killed the Hindus in Kashmir, raped the Hindu Women and driven the Hindus out of Kashmir, US watched it with glee. This was going on for 30 years.

When suddenly the terrorists turned and attacked US, it awakened from its slumber and now finds Pakistan supporting terrorists. All most all terror activities culminate from Pakistan. They get the money from Afghanistan and NWFC of Pakistan by the Poppy cultivation .

So all power US is bled because of its wrong policies. Now the third world countries which has been ignored all these years by US and Europe is emerging powerful. China, India and Korea are now quite powerful economically. Along with Japan these countries are powerful and in the next 10 years they will rule the world. India and China joined together have more than one third of the world population.

US also consumes most of the oil produced in the world and is the number one polluter of the world. They have the maximum number of vehicles in the world. So unless the US take some remedial action and correct it self the US is sure to lose its eminence.

Why are people around the world still beating down the door to gain entry. The greatest danger is just south of us in Texas and we are being invaded by an illiterate class of people we will have to educate, hopitalize, fill up our prisons etc. You have been listening to many of your Ward Churchill type lib professors. The US is still a great place but we have been very lax on its new members. have a nice day.

It depends on two things. First, US education has to be elevated both in terms of quality and in terms of more emphasis on math and science literacy. Second, policies need to be enacted such that skilled manufacturing and R&D remain in the US rather than being outsourced.

Tom Friedman can dance and sing about the world being flat (a recent book title of his) all he wants. I took Econ 101 as well - and 101 is not enough to run a country on, something Friedman doesn't get.

A lot of people would like to see that, but things were certainly worse in the 70s and things got better (under Ronald Reagan) very quickly. I think it's rather silly to make any assumptions like that at this point. They would be at least 100 years premature.

(Americans are such "instant" gratifiers...they don't understand that it usually takes centuries for something like this to come about. That's probably because it's such a young country.)

I think you're currently over-stating the facts, but unless we get some competent administrations to guide us in the very near future your prediction is a sure thing.

*Anything* is possible... but I don't think so unless we are sold out from within. (a real possibility) but remember they were saying the same thing about what we owed Japan and how much the Japs owned in America 15 years ago... Unless we turn into socialist wimps we will survive...

LOL.... alrighty then. If socialist have their way, yes we will be a third world country. It s the doom and gloom losers that are too lazy to get off their butts and make something of themselves that are dragging us down. The war did not bankrupt us. We are far wealthier than you seem to realize.
