I don't know anything about getting fake nails, and I don't know anybody I can ask to help me out. I want to know what the type of fake nails works the best, and is a good value. Educate me someone.

I've had silks, gels and acrylic.
The most common and cheapest is the acrylic. I'd start with those. Once you get them on, you will need to get them filled. You really don't want to go more than 2 weeks between fill ins because they will get really ratty looking. You will also have to tip for each fill. With tip and all - it was usually about $20.00 every two weeks for me to get acrylic nails filled. Gels and silks are more expensive.

Ok after you chose what nails u want, before getting them u shuld buy 5 dollar glue on nails and keep them on for a week so u can get used to the feeling!!
and ps they dont have to look bad i just did my nails myslef for 5 bucks and they look so professional and real looking people wont belive i got them done myself!!
