Maybe use it on the bridges aswell. We might be the richest contry in the world but it seems because we are cutting corners and saving money on bridges. The bridge thing is really embarassing for the nation.

Would you compare how much is spent on foreign wars like Iraq, too?
That should be used to help our people too. But people here don't want to pay taxes, so they vote for budget-cutting Republicans, so there's always less and less money for things that would help our country, like infrastructure, education, clean AMERICAN fuel sources, etc.
How can we pay for even defense without taxation of some kind? I guess (R)'s think borrow and spend is fine, and maybe they're thinking print and spend is a way to pay our debt.

I think there is a place for foreign aid in times of natural disaster and to aid starving people but probably the money doesn't get to the people it's meant to help!

How about if the government spends its money however it pleases, AND SO DO I!
If the government can raise money without robbing me, why shouldn't it do whatever it wants. If its not my money, I could care less.
Eliminate taxes now!
