looking for very nice aquariums to visit with the family.I am looking for ones like you see in the movies.I went to the one in pittsburgh,Pa and I did not really like that one.

The aquarium in Chattanooga Tennessee is awesome!!!! They have two buildings one that is a fresh water and the other is salt water. I usually am bored to tears at these things and I loved it!!!! We spent a week in Chattanooga for my 9 year olds spring break this year and there is so much to do there. Including but not limited to Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Aquarium, riding the DUCKS, and of course a trip to Sweetwater. Anyway great aquarium.

There is an awesome aquarium in Chattanooga TN. They have freshwater and saltwater exhibits. They also have a penguin exhibit. I haven't been since they added the penguins but can't wait to go! It is much better than the Ripley's aquariums in Myrtle Beach and Gatlinburg.

If you want the most bang for your buck, come to TN... there is the aquarium in Gatlinburg to the East, Chattanooga to the south and one of the largest in the world in Atlanta,GA a little further south of Chattanooga. And TN has tons of other awesome family appropriate entertainment as well (hiking, music, history, nature...) and it's beautiful!

My family went to the Seaquarium in Atlanta GA and it was amazing. It had just opened and has something for everyone including small children. It's huge and there are open exhibits where children and adults can touch starfish, manta rays etc.. I had so much fun.

The prettiest aquarium I've been to is the one in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Baltimore is supposed to be great - my mom loved it. I loved the one in Mystic, CT and the one in Miami.
