Metals are conductors which means that they will hold and carry electrical charges. Plastics, on the other hand, are insulators meaning that they block or stop an electrical flow.

Induction involves electrical current. Inductive coupling between two circuits describes how their currents respond to each other via the magnetic field. Plastics are not conductors, so the concept does not apply.

First you should do your own homework..

Induction requires the ability to carry an electrical current.. plastic is an insulator and cannot carry current.
