I've seen this movie years and years ago, and I remember one scene from it, nothing else, and have always wondered what movie that is... if anybody knows???
There is a group of guys traveling on foot through some rain forest or something... and then one of them happens to fall into some swamp or something and is swallowed by it, the others can't rescue him. One of his friends tosses something into the swamp after him, something that belonged to the guy..
The movie can't be newer than maybe mid-eighties, is probably older than that.
Anybody have any ideas???

I know it wasn't neverending story, because I am well familiar with that one and the horse drowning in the swamp...(seen it a zillion times..), it was about some guys walking through some rain forest or something, and probably more of a movie for adults rather than kids. And it might be from the seventies or even sixties... not sure...
