Lol, yea Daniel, it sounds like that to me as well! It is handy though, whenever you're abroad and meet any other Scottish people you can basically talk in a secret code language that no1 else can decipher. Sounds like Klingon.

nope, sorry. I find it hard to tag along with lorraine kelly..it all seems like hard work trying to make out what she's waffling on about.. and the blokes in kilts..does nothing for me, sorry. I prefer Yorkshire accents, they're so downtoearth they make everything sound so believable and uncomplicated. Their accent plays a tune with my heart strings.

hi, i'm scottish and I'm from the west end of glasgow. I dont like the typical glaswegian accent " nae way man" and all that. Think its very harsh especially if you hear it on tv or video or something. However, when I'm abroad people seem to like it - whether or not they understand what i'm saying is a different question lol. I think Scots have a tendency to speak very quickly. Personally I dont like certain accents from Scotland but I wont mention which incase I offend.

I am bound to like the Scottish and Irish since I am both. Generally I like all accents although my hearing isn't what it used to be so some extreme accents are too difficult for me to understand.

Yeah, I do, but I am Scottish myself (LOL)!
XoOX....Scottish accents ARE British accents silly (LOL :) ), as are English, Welsh & Northern Irish. I assume you meant English when oyu said British. You have to remember there are countless different English accents too however. I also assume you are from the USA?

I love the Scottish accent,I think Daniel Aland who said he had a masters in Psychology is telling porkies. Psychologists
wouldn't say things like that someone should drag him along in a bed of nails. What Cheek.

I am from Glasgow and there are two types of accent in Glasgow, one is called the Glasgow slang the other is just the Scottish accent. I spend a lot of time in my sons house in Ealing, and get on well with all his neighbours and often go for a night out with them. They all seem to understand my accent ok..

Well Craig I'm Scottish and when abroad people say that when my wife and I have a conversation we sound like we are singing a duet together. Don't know what accent you have but mine is Bannockburn, About as Scottish as it gets

The only time a physical compliment is expected and truly appreciated by a woman (unless she’s naked) is when you first pick her up for a date. Learn here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?g1OD
She has put forth a great deal of effort to look good for you and her efforts should be acknowledged. Tell her she looks pretty or beautiful; maybe give her a little spin while you appreciate her loveliness. Then stop. After that moment all compliments should be general, like “that’s fascinating”, “cool” and “awesome”. You will make a woman feel more attractive by letting her know that that she is interesting and special than you will by talking about her physical attributes.
